OK boys and girls. I was sitting thinking last night about the case, and was wondering about Lance's E2 model guitar which happens to the father as it were to the OLF SJ. Lance's E2 is just 3/16 shorter and an 1/8" narrower at the lower bout than The OLF SJ, it is dead on at the upper bout and waist location looks perfect when I scale an image of the E2 to Lance’s body dimensions. Cedar Creek has Lance's Specs for the E2 guitar. The cost for this Case is approx $* (edited for my own good) after shipping with a 6-8 week delivery. Lance is willing to order the case for us if we can come up with the funds. I personally will contribute $40 Next Friday if we chose to go this rout. Also Lance gets a small break on an order of 3 or more. I my self would be interested in one E2 Cedar Creek case, so if someone else is interested in one, this would be a good time to pick one up but it will need to be a E2 case (Darn near perfect for OLF SJ)

Now as far as the Ameritage Case we could action it of to raise the funds but I feel this is not fair to Ameritage since they donated the case. Does everyone agree here.

An other option but not as good is The OLF SJ will squeeze into an Access Stage 5 Small body but the heel support must be removed and it is squeezing the ?” padding by ?” per side or a ?” over all.

I think the first Idea is the best.

What's the status with Ameritage? Wasn't Don working with them to get a case that actually fits?
It seams wrong to me for them to donate the case and not have it be used.

They will have to decide if they want to create an custom size for it fabricate it and I will have to return the donated case. I agree that if they do that that is great but as far as I know in the last two weeks they have not made a decision as to create the new size case. The last I heard from Don was as I stated.

Well I heard from Tim this morning and he told me to hold on to the case till they decide what to do. So we are in a holding pattern for now.
